Airy cafe restaurant with lovely garden attached. Friendly service. Good share plates and drinks. The garden out back makes it a great choice in summer.

Really nice people. We put our playlist at some point and served cake for our friend's birthday, they were very supportive.

Came in for a quick dinner with the kids and the restaurant couldn't be more accommodating. Despite having a full book of reservations they seated us promptly (we promised to be out by 8) and brought the 2 high chairs we requested. Had the steak tartare, salmon, gypsy mussels, and polenta.... every dish was super flavorful. Service was quick and friendly. This is a solid spot for delicious bistro food.

Great gypsy jazz, euro vibe

Bistro Fada is a great bar/restaurant where I often go to eat and listen to (or play) the gypsy jazz music that is frequently featured there. Friendly people, a very casual atmosphere, excellent, moderately-priced food just a block from the Bedford St. stop on the L.

Excellent and tasty food, I liked the character this place has, and the cashiers were helpful. I will surely visit here next time.

Great atmosphere, real french food and bread.

After coming to this place for many years, owner switched to tapas menu this month. Not much to choose for dinner from menu of appetizers. Place went cheap...even the linen was replaced with cheap paper wipes. We'll see a another speciality burger joint here soon.

As long as you're prepared for the bill! Great presentations of mostly great food. The paralleled my companion ordered was AMAZING! Vegetarian but it tasted as if it had meat, and it was one of the best sauces this old Italian has ever had. My duck needed some more sauce, so they gladly provided. Exquisite service. Only problem was the bread basket never arrived and when it was on the bill they gladly removed it. Lava cake--YUM!!!

I've got mixed feelings about this place. We've been when there was live music, which was quite enjoyable. The back patio can be relaxed and enjoyable. The service is usually ok. The wine and cocktail list is disappointing.

Was fun but if you're French you would have an even better time

I can't not get the 'Black Stone' every time, it's so good! 'The Fada' is also delicious. This is easily one of the best brunch places in Williamsburg!

I love this restaurant! They prepare high class food, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is very experienced, I like a lot trying all their food. The food is consistently of high class, the service towards the customers is good. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend this place.

This restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience. Even though they're usually pretty full, you never feel rushed. The craft cocktails and robust beer menu are nice, but it's the food that makes this place. The thai muscles have been a favorite of some others I've gone with and personally drool over the truffle fries. And since it's a French restaurant, I always end my meal with their great creme brulee. When it's warm out, you have to try their patio, you feel like you're eating in a garden - it's very private and exclusive feeling.

Amazing atmosphere and great food/drink. The restaurant is decorated with great taste and has an amazing old fashion zinc bar. The patio is beautiful and the bar in the back add to the feel home atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time!

Nice bar for French feeling homesick. They have pastis and a few other French specialties. The place in itself look very similar to a traditional bar you could find in the south of France.
